LTZ Areas (AR)

 

Sulmona restricted area (LTZ Sulmona) covers all the historic center and its boundary concerns: ring roads from Porta Napoli (P.zza Vittorio Veneto) and P.zza Carlo Tresca.

It is divided in 3 Areas:

  • Area 1, concerning area from Porta Napoli and Piazza del Carmine;
  • Area 2, concerning area from P.zza del Carmine and Via De Nino;
  • Area 3, concerning area from P.zza SS. Annunziata to Piazza Carlo Tresca.

Where enforced cameras are

Access to Sulmona LTZ is watched by 3 cameras located in:
  • between piazza Tresca and corso Ovidio;
  • via Marselli intersection Largo Mercatello;
  • Via Pansa (Ponte Capograssi).

LTZ working time and days

Sulmona LTZ (in Italian ZTL) works:

  • from 10:30 to 13:30
  • from 17:30 to 1:00 a.m

Admitted vehicles

In Sulmona Restricted Area (Sulmona LTZ ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.

Authorized people

The following kinds of people can enter in Sulmona LTZ without any authorization:

  • bycles
  • ambulance
  • visiting doctors
  • police and military
  • night-time surveillance
  • bus
  • taxi, NCC
  • municiplaty vehicles
  • wedding vehicles
  • funeral company

The following kinds of people can get authorization to enter in Sulmona LTZ:

  • Residents;
  • Park owner;
  • Public utilities;
  • Delivery goods;
  • Market;
  • Artisan;
  • Sales agent;
  • Armoured;
  • Mail vehicles;
  • Movie;
  • Press;
  • Doctors with ambulatory in LTZ;
  • Jewels sales agents.

Time for loading and unloading goods

When Sulmona LTZ doesn't work, it is possible to deliver goods.

You can delivery perishable goods from Monday to Saturday in the morning since 11.00.

disabled access

Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Sulmona LTZ.
If you need to enter without any authorization you have to inform Local Police (fax 0864 242301, or e-mail: comandop.m.@comune.sulmona.aq.it) within 48 hours since you entered.
You must give the following information:
  • Plate number,
  • Date and time you entered,
  • Disabled permit.

Sono venuto a Sulmona per la prima volta ,e sono entrato e uscito subito alle 22 circa il 4 gennaio da via Pansa,dove ho parcheggiato vicino al ponte Capograssi. I cartelli della ZTL sono piccoli e non c'è niente di luminoso che avverte che si sta entrando in zona ZTL,o se cera era spento.Mi spiegate come fa un turista di passaggio a sapere ? O forse contate su questa nostra non conoscenza.

al varco ztl di Piazzale Carlo Tresca il monitor di controllo indicava: "ATTIVO"; al contrario la tabella fissa della ztl indicava l'orario di attività della ztl fino alle 13.30. Desidero sapere, per non incorrere in sanzioni, quale delle due indicazioni sopradescritte, platealmente incompatibili tra di loro, deve essere rispettata dall'automobilista e in base a quale disposizione

come non detto. Ho trovato la risposta. Una osservazione tuttavia va fatta: l'eccezione per il sabato e la domenica é scritta sul modello dei contratti capestro le cui clausole scritte con caratteri infinitesimali rispetto agli altri, paiono fatti apposta per non essere letti da nessuno.
