ZTL Areas (AR)

 Gallipoli restricted area (ZTL Gallipoli) covers all Gallipoli Pensinsula from sixty century bridge.

Inside restricted area there is also a Pedestrian Area concernig the following streets: Via Antonietta De Pace, Via Santa Maria, Via Sant'Elia, Via Briganti, Via Cardami, Via Duomo, Via Garibaldi e Via Fontò.

Access to Gallipoli ZTL is watched by 1 camera located in Ponte Seicentesco-Riviera C. Colombo intersection.

ZTL working time and days

Gallipoli ZTL every year changes its time slots : In  2020 it works from 13 June to 30 September every day from 11,00 to 2 am.

Pedestrian area had the same time slots.

Admitted vehicles

In Gallipoli Restricted Area (Gallipoli ZTL ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.

It is forbidden to enter vehicles over 3,5 tonnes, too.

Time for loading and unloading goods

Vehicles over 3,5 tonnes can't enter il Gallipoli ZTL .
Fright will be got by shop keepers from the reserved area near port captaincy.

Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Gallipoli ZTL.
If you need to enter without any authorization you have to inform Local Police .
You must give the following information:
  • Plate number,
  • Date and time you entered,
  • your disabled permit

Hotel guests access
Hotel guests can enter in Gallipoli ZTL for loading and unloading luggage.
It is up the hotel to say car plate to Local Police.

Temporary permits
Local Police may give temporary access authorizations in Gallipoli Restricted Area for weddings, funerals, moves, movies Chemist's, press, services.

If I got into ZTL without any permission, is it possible to revoke the fine ?
If you got in Gallipoli Restricted Area without any authorization you can't avoid a fine except health or safety urgenties.
In these cases, you have to inform Local Police within 7 days since you entered.
