ZTL Areas (AR)

Ravenna restricted area (ZTL Ravenna) covers a part of the historic center.

Insiide the Restricted Area, there is a Pedestrian Area, too , concerning via Cavour, Cairoli, Diaz, Piazza del Popolo.

Access to Ravenna ZTL is watched by 9 cameras located in:
  • via di Roma (opposite way too)
  • via Guiccimanni
  • via Baccarini
  • via Rondinelli
  • via Mariani
  • via Guerrini (opposite way too)
  • Ponte marino
  • via Matteucci
  • Piazza Baracca

ZTL working time and days

Ravenna ZTL gates have different time slots:

  • via di Roma, via Guiccimanni, via Baccarini, via Rondinelli e Piazza Baracca works every day from 0:00 to 24:00.;
  • via Mariani, via Guerrini, Ponte marino, via Matteucci works every day from 7:30 to 20:30.

Admitted vehicles

In Ravenna Restricted Area (Ravenna ZTL ), only four wheel vehicles can't enter without any authorization, therefore motorcycles and scooters can enter without any problem.

Authorized people

The following kinds of people can get authorization to enter in Ravenna ZTL:

  • Disabled people;
  • Residents;
  • Residents with park;
  • Parkings;
  • Artisans;
  • Public utilities;
  • Doctors;
  • Delivery goods.

Time for loading and unloading goods
Authorized vehicles can deliver goods in Ravenna ZTL with this time slots (parking  no onger than 30 minutes): from 04.00 to 10.30 and from 14.30 to 16.00.

Disabled people can notice to local Polic no more than 2 plate number. They can download the application from Ravenna website.

For occasional entrance, we advice to contact Ravenna ZTL office or to send to mail sirio@comune.ra.it the following application.

Hotel guests access
Hotel guests can enter in Ravenna ZTL for loading and unloading luggage.
It is up the hotel to say car plate to Local Police.

Temporary permits

It is possible to get a daily permit for occasional needs.

Since dicember 2016 it is possible to buy it directly by parking meters.

Daily permit costs 8 Euro and it works from 0.00 to 23.59.

It permits to enter in Ravenna ZTL excepted Piazza del Popolo and the other predestrian streets.

It is only for under 5 tonnes vehicles.

In the  map , you can find parking meters that give daily permit.

If you got in Ravenna Restricted Area without any authorization you can't avoid a fine.
