ZTL Areas (AR)

Monterotondo restricted area (ZTL Monterotondo) covers all the historic center and its boundary concerns: 

  • Via G. Garibaldi intersection with Viale G. Matteotti (Porta Garibaldi),
  • Via della Rocca intersection with Piazza A. Frammartino, 
  • Via Rossini intersection with Piazza A. Frammartino ,
  • Piazza Comitato Liberazione Nazionale intersection with Piazza Don Minzoni.

Access to Monterotondo ZTL is watched by 2 cameras located in:
  • Via Don Minzoni 
  • Via  Garibaldi

ZTL working time and days
Monterotondo ZTL  works :
  • from 21.00 to 07.00 on working day,
  • from 00.00 to 24.00 on Sunday and on not working days.

Admitted vehicles

In Monterotondo Restricted Area (Monterotondo ZTL ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.

Authorized people
Bycles, animals drawn Vehicles and the follwing Vehicles cam enter in Monterotond ZTL (they must tell before thei plate number).
1.Loading waste and Cleaning streets.;
2. First aid;
3.Police and sorveillance;
4. Civil protection;
5. Public utilities;
6. Mail Vehicles;
7. Delivery jewels;
8. Tow truck ;
9. NCC and taxi;
10. hearse;
11. Local Administration, Public utilities, Public Transport;
12. Publica Administration, mail;
13. Doctors on call.

The following kinds of people can get authorization to enter in Monterotondo ZTL:

  • Residents;
  • Private car park owners;
  • Home care;
  • Delivery goods;
  • Weddings and occurrence;
  • Shops or companies inside the ZTL.

When Monterotondo ZTL doesn't work, it is possible to deliver goods.

Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Monterotondo ZTL.
If you need to enter without any authorization you have to inform Local Police within 48 hours since they entered.
You must give the following information:
  • Plate number,
  • Date and time entrance,
  • Disabled permit.
You can give the information choosing among:

If you got in Monterotondo Restricted Area without any authorization you can't avoid a fine except disabled people.
