Brescia restricted area (ZTL Brescia) covers a part of the historic center.

It is divided into four different areas with different rules.

ZTL working time and days

Brescia permanent ZTL and prevalent pedestrian area work every day from 0.00 to 24.00.

Pedestrian area works every day from 0.00 to 24.00.

Daily Brescia ZTL works every day from 8.00 to 20.00.

Admitted vehicles

In Brescia Restricted Area (Brescia ZTL ), only four wheel vehicles can't enter without any authorization, therefore motorcycles and scooters can enter without any problem.

Zero Emmission vehicles can be authorized to enter.

Authorized people

The following kinds of people can enter in Brescia ZTL :

Residents;
Private car park owners;
Shop keepers inside ZTL;
Artisans;
Sales agents;
Delivery goods;
Visiting Doctors.

Time for loading and unloading goods

Authorized vehicles can deliver goods in Brescia ZTL:

from Monday; to Friday; from 6.00 to 11.30 and from 13.00 to 18.00.
on Saturday from 6.00 to 11.30.
on Sunday and on not working days you can't.

First time, you must send vehicle registration certificate by fax to n. 030.3061119 Ufficio controllo accessi ZTL di Brescia Mobilità S.p.A. phone 030.3061115.

N.B.: C.tto. S.Agata gate and L.go Formentone gate , time slots are: from Monday to Friday from 6.30 to 10.00

disabled access

Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Brescia ZTL but you need to register your plate number.

If you need to change your plate number you can call Ufficio Controllo Accessi di Brescia Mobilità S.p.A. Phone . 030.3061115.

If you need to enter without any authorization you have to inform Local Police within 48 hours since you entered.
You must give the following information:

Plate number,
Date and time you entered,
your disabled permit

. You can give the information choosing among:

calling to 030.3061115,
sending a fax to 030.3061119
sending a e-mailto: infoztl@bresciamobilita.it.

Hotel guests access

Hotel guests can enter in Brescia ZTL for loading and unloading luggage (parking no more than 15 minutes).
It is up the hotel to say car plate to Local Police.

Temporary permits

Local Police may give temporary access authorizations in Brescia Restricted Area after production of motion.

All people can get temporary permit to enter in Brescia ZTL (excepted L.go Formentone): for more information look at Gratta e Sosta.

If I got into ZTL without any permission, is it possible to revoke the fine ?

If you got in Brescia Restricted Area without any authorization you can't avoid a fine except disabled people or hotel guests.
