ZTL Areas (AR)

Melzo restricted area (ZTL Melzo) is divided into two different areas with different rules.

The Red one concerns:

  • p.zza san francesco
  • via matteotti
  • p.zza vittorio emanuele II from via a.pasta
  • p.zza della repubblica
  • via candiani
  • via cattaneo
  • via sant'ambrogio
  • p.zza della vittoria from via bianchi

The Blue one concerns:

  • via a.villa
  • via sant'alessandro from via montello
  • p.zza garibaldi
  • via magenta
  • via bianchi
  • part of p.zza della vittoria

Where enforced cameras are
Access to Melzo ZTL is watched by 5 cameras located in:
  • via Villa,
  • via Bianchi,
  • piazza della Vittoria,
  • piazza Vittorio Emanuele
  • via Sant'Antonio
Since 5 dicembre 2015 Via Villa, Via Bianchi e via Sant'Antonio cameras don't work.

ZTL working time and days

Red Melzo ZTL  works every day from 0.00 to 24.00

Before stop of 5 December 2015,  Melzo Blue ZTL worked :

  • From Monday to Saturday: from 00,00 to 06,00 and from 23,00 to 24,00
  • ON Sunday and not working days: from 00,00 to 24,00

Admitted vehicles

In Melzo Restricted Area (Melzo ZTL ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.

Zero Emmission vehicles can be authorized to enter.

Authorized people

The following kinds of people can enter in Melzo ZTL without any authorization:

  • Bycicles;
  • Police;
  • Disabled people;
  • Public utilities;
  • Visiting Doctors;
  • Parsons;
  • Hearse;
  • Delivery goods;
  • Delivery medicinal goods.

Residents and car park owners can enter in Melzo ZTL.

Time for loading and unloading goods
Authorized vehicles can deliver goods in Melzo ZTL: from 07,00 to 11,00 and from 15,00 to 17,00.

Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Melzo ZTL.

We don't know any exceptions about hotel guests inside Melzo ZTL.

Temporary permits
Local Police may give temporary access authorizations in Melzo Restricted Area after production of motion.
If you want to get a permit you must fill in the application and go to police office.

If I got into ZTL without any permission, is it possible to revoke the fine ?
If you got in Melzo Restricted Area without any authorization you can't avoid a fine except urgenties.
In these cases, you have to inform Local Police by the applicationwithin 96 hours since you entered.
