Vercelli restricted area (ZTL Vercelli) concerns the following streets of the historic center: Corso Libertà (from via Quintino Sella to via san Paolo ), via Gioberti (from via Gattinara di Zubbiena and via Galielo Ferraris) and their crossing streets.

Admitted vehicles

In Vercelli Restricted Area (Vercelli ZTL ), any kind of vehicles can't enter without any authorization, even motorcycles and scooters must be allowed to enter.

  • Electric vehicles;

  • Home care.

Time for loading and unloading goods
Authorized vehicles can deliver goods in Vercelli ZTL:from 7:00 to 10:00 and from 15:00 to 16:00.

You can get autohorization to enter in ZTL Vercelli calling green number 800 177 720. It is possible to send 48 hours after the entrance an application filling in :

  • Plate number,
  • owner,
  • company and address where you deivery goods.

You must attach to application a photocopy of the delivery receipt.

disabled access
Vehicles for disabled people can always enter in Vercelli ZTL.
If you need to enter without any authorization you have to inform Local Police (the free number 800 177 720) within 48 hours since you entered.
You must give the following information:
  • Plate number,
  • Date and time you entered,
  • Disabled permit

We don't know any exceptions about hotel guests inside Vercelli ZTL.

Local Police may give temporary access authorizations in Vercelli Restricted Area after production of motion.

If I got into ZTL without any permission, is it possible to revoke the fine ?
If you got in Vercelli Restricted Area without any authorization you can't avoid a fine except urgenties.
In these cases you can;
  • call free phne number 800 177 720 andanswer to the operator questions ;
  • send to,within 48 hours after entrance, Local Police documentation proving urgenties.

Urgenties are definited in art. 4 della legge 24 novembre 1981, n. 689 e s.m.i.
